Some turn into complete works of art while others fizzle and serve as a regular old piece of printing.

Zoos

A zoo has so much to offer to a community that it would be next to impossible to enter the premises and not find a custom brochure detailing the sights and amenities. One found in Nebraska highlights a creative way to tell the story of the flying creature community. Every other panel of this large brochure was a standard unflashy panel, but the ones in between it were die-cut to resemble the wings of a particular animal on display. One was that of a macaw, another was a bat and yet another was that of a monarch butterfly. Each page told a short story of how they came to be at the zoo along with relevant details about how to properly view the exhibit where they were housed.

Musicians

Since vinyl is making a huge comeback, many musicians are opting for a record-inspired theme for their brochure printing. Some are complete with diagonal folders on the interior of the front panel that makes it perfect to hold loose-leaf materials such as business cards and other inserts. To pay tribute to the vintage era of rock, the fonts, colors and materials used are becoming reflective of a time when album sales were the source of their livelihoods. Whether you are simply cutting new records as a producer or available as a house band for bars and restaurants around your immediate area, people will begin to recognize your efforts when you think in terms of what was once popular and is now making resurgence!

Painters

Everybody needs a little color in their lives and their homes. Some professional painters will make their brochures available to you complete with color swatch options, photos of past work and faux design ideas that they can manipulate for your own walls. With so much potential for designing with colors, your marketing collateral as a painting expert has the potential to look phenomenal if you detail your panels the right way. Try to provide a contrast with each page that is flipped so that your customers can gain a better understanding of what is feasible.
