Please read these Terms of Use carefully. They contain important information about your rights and obligations.

This Terms of Use Agreement sets forth the standards of use of the SimplePrint.com website. By accessing or using the SimplePrint.com website you (the Customer) agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement, you should immediately cease all usage of this website. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update the terms and conditions of this agreement without prior notice. Modifications to this Agreement shall become effective immediately upon being posted at SimplePrint.com website. Your continued use of the Service after amendments are posted constitutes an acknowledgement and acceptance of the Agreement and its modifications. Except as provided in this paragraph, this Agreement may not be amended.

By using the SimplePrint.com website (Website), you agree not to upload, post, email or otherwise send or transmit any material that: (1) contains viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment associated with the Website; (2) is abusive, illegal, libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights or otherwise objectionable or which may give rise to liability or violate any law; (3) is in violation of a copyright, trademark or other intellectual property or other right of any person; or (4) requests personally identifiable information. You also agree not to: (1) impersonate any other person while using the Website; (2) use the Website for any unlawful purpose; or (3) upload commercial content to the Website or use the Website to solicit others without our express prior written permission. If you use any chat room, feature or other community on the Website, you will treat other users with respect.

We cannot and do not review all communications and materials posted to the Website, and we are not responsible for the content of such communications and materials. You acknowledge that, by providing you with the ability to view and distribute user-generated content on the Website, we are acting only as a passive conduit for such distribution, and we are not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any such content. All such content is offered AS IS, and you view and use it at your own risk. However, we reserve the right to block or remove communications or materials that we determine to be: (a) abusive, defamatory or obscene; (b) fraudulent, deceptive or misleading; (c) in violation of a copyright, trademark or other intellectual property or other right of any person; (d) in violation of these Terms of Use; or (e) offensive or otherwise unacceptable to us in our sole discretion. If you become aware of misuse of the Website by any person, please contact us at info@SimplePrint.com.

Change Orders

Any jobs that have been approved or sent to press cannot be altered or changed due to the automated process that results from the send to press action. If a downgrade request is made prior to the job being sent to press, including but not limited to turnaround time, quantity, shipping method, etc., before the digital proof is approved, a change order fee of $15 will be deducted from the refund.

Turnaround Times

Turnaround times ONLY begin when all of the following criteria have been met:

  1. Your order has been entered, processed and transaction approved.
  2. You have uploaded your artwork for your job.
  3. You have viewed and approved your proof and clicked the send to press button, thus sending your job to press.
  4. After you release your job, it has been sent to press. Unless you have chosen the No Art Check option, an ART CHECK is performed by SimplePrint.com Quality Control. If they find what they believe to be defects (i.e. missing fonts, low resolution images,etc.) that will cause the job to print unsatisfactorily, they will put the job ON HOLD. You will be notified via email. The job will remain ON HOLD until you resubmit and re-approve new artwork or send the job to press as is. During this process, the turnaround time is also ON HOLD. SimplePrint.com is not responsible for expediting your order if time is lost as a result of your artworks failure to meet production design specifications.
  5. If you select the hard copy proof option, the proof will be sent to you the day after you approve your artwork.

The time it takes to receive, sign and return a color proof DOES NOT count toward turnaround time. A job is placed ON HOLD until the signed proof is returned. Proof approval typically takes two days (one day transit to the Customer, one day transit to return the proof to SimplePrint.com). Please note that if a hard copy proof is ordered, it MUST be SIGNED and RETURNED before production recommences.

Turnaround times are based ONLY on business days, Monday through Friday, and exclude all weekends as well as national and federal holidays. All jobs released to press before 5:00pm CST will begin production the following business day. Click here for an illustrated turnaround time chart.

Example: If a 4-day turnaround time option is selected, the file(s) uploaded and approved, and the job released to press Tuesday before 5:00pm CST, day one of turnaround time starts the following business day, and the job will ship on Friday of that same week.

At SimplePrint.com, we do everything we can to assure every job ships on time; however, ship dates should be considered estimates. Production delays, weather conditions and mechanical malfunctions, etc. can sometimes cause jobs to ship late. In the event SimplePrint.com ships a late job, the price difference between the requested and actual print schedule will be credited back towards the Customers account. SimplePrint.com is not responsible for upgrading the shipping method to accommodate a missed estimated ship date. Customers may upgrade the shipping method prior to the job actually shipping at their own expense. Cancellation of a job or entire order based on turnaround time is permitted ONLY if a Customer Service Supervisor agrees to these terms in writing as a condition during order entry. If you have a time-sensitive job, please be sure to notify Customer Service.

SimplePrint.com official non-production dates:

  • New Years Day - Jan 1
  • Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
  • Independence Day - July 4th
  • Labor Day - First Monday in September
  • Thanksgiving - Fourth Thursday & Friday in November
  • Christmas - December 25th

Sales Tax

SimplePrint.com charges sales tax on orders received from within the state of Minnesota unless you are tax exempt. If you are tax exempt, you will need to send or fax us your tax exemption certificate prior to placing your order.

Electronic Proofs

If you request it, an electronic proof will be available for your review after we have received your file upload. Actual time will vary depending on our workload. No job will be sent to press without your approval. It is the Customers responsibility to log in to their account and check on their proof. We are not liable for delays in the order caused by Customers non-approval of the proof.

Electronic proofs should not be considered an accurate color reproduction of your final printed piece. They are intended as a final opportunity for you to check the layout, bleeds and final text on your project. Electronic proofs do not show transparency or overprint issues, nor do they show color changes from Pantone or RGB color to CMYK.

The proof should be treated as independent from the file originally submitted and reviewed thoroughly prior to approval. It should also be checked against the original file, as it is your last opportunity to catch possible errors in layout, spacing, copy, punctuation or image placement. The Customer is fully responsible for all that is contained in the final approved proof.

Hardcopy Proofs

A hardcopy color proof guarantees a reasonable likeness to the final printed pieces. However, it is printed on a substrate that does not match the final paper stocks used in our printing process. The hardcopy color proof is color-matched to a four-color process on coated papers and does NOT simulate other stocks such as uncoated paper. While a hardcopy color proof will visually show color, variation between the hardcopy color proof and the final printed piece is to be expected. If a variation occurs due to these circumstances, the resulting printed job is considered an acceptable print performance.

If you submit a job and do not request a hardcopy color proof, your job(s) will be printed as is. SimplePrint.com will not be liable for color variation from the electronic proof. If a color proof is chosen by the Customer, it will be SimplePrint.coms responsibility to match that proof and the job will be printed accordingly. SimplePrint.com will make every effort to match the colors of your submitted artwork, whether your job is color critical or not. It is the Customers responsibility to determine if the job is color critical.

The request for a hardcopy proof involves an additional fee and would extend the amount of time needed to complete the job. For orders where a hardcopy proof has been requested, SimplePrint.com must receive the approval on or before our published cut-off times. If additional hardcopy proofs are required for any reason, an additional fee will be charged.

Color Accuracy

SimplePrint.com will reproduce color from submitted print-ready files as closely as possible. Because of inherent limitations with the printing process, as well as neighboring image ink requirements, the accuracy of color reproduction is not guaranteed. By placing an order with SimplePrint.com you agree to this limitation. We do our best to match the gradient density of each color, but we accept no responsibility for color variations between submitted files and the final printed piece. We are not liable for color matching or ink density on electronic proofs that you approve. Electronic proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not color or density.

Application of UV coating may effect or change the appearance of the printed colors. We are not liable for the final color appearance of a UV coated product.

Art Resolution Requirements

Artwork must be provided at a minimum 300 dpi and include high-resolution images suitable for offset printing. SimplePrint.com is not liable for images printing as bitmaps as a result of Customer-provided low-resolution images.

Bleed and Safety Area Margin Requirements

A symmetrical 1/8" bleed must be included for designs that have content extending to the trim line. Important content must be excluded from the safety zone, which is defined as the inner 1/8" margin from the trim lines. SimplePrint.com allows for a 1/16" margin of error for the cutting and bindery process, therefore adherence to bleed and caution margins are important to image fidelity.

Backing Up Artwork on Two-Sided Jobs

You must upload artwork so that the finished piece backs up correctly. SimplePrint.com provides downloadable formatting templates for each product, size, side, and orientation. Each of these templates has a Backing Marker. For flat, folded and die-cut work, excluding bound products, all pages are backed up (Backing Marker to Backing Marker). To verify that your project backs up correctly, you should print out both sides prior to deleting the template layer from your artwork, match the backing markers up (back to back) and confirm that your finished piece will print the way you desire. Please remember to delete the provided template artwork prior to submitting your files. SimplePrint.com is not liable for any reprints if the template is visible on your finished piece.

Bound Jobs

Our system requires that art for booklets, catalogs and calendars is uploaded as a single, multi-page pdf file. Page order needs to be the same as when viewing your book; for example, a 24-page booklet, catalog or calendar (sorting order) pdf: page 1 = outside front cover; page 2 = inside front cover; page 3-22 = subsequent pages; page 23 = inside back cover; page 24 = outside back cover. SimplePrint.com cannot proceed with your bound product order unless these requirements are met.

Color Space Conversion

SimplePrint.com is not responsible for the color shift, which occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK color modes. For best results, always use CMYK color mode when creating your artwork.

CMYK Black/Rich Black

Jobs that contain large areas of solid black ink should use CMYK black (60, 40, 40, 100). SimplePrint.com is not liable for printing a consistent, solid and rich black if your artwork is not set to this specification. CMYK black should not be used for text.

Gang-Run Printing

Gang-Run Printing refers to the practice of producing print jobs for clients that lower costs by ganging several print jobs together on the same print run, spreading the cost of the printing amongst all jobs on the run. Utilizing this method is what allows us to provide you with affordable four-color printing. It allows the initial production costs to be spread out over a number of jobs, greatly reducing the make-ready charges for each Customer. Our skilled professionals and state-of-the-art equipment assure quality work at affordable prices.

However, there are limits to Gang Run printing. Because of neighboring image ink requirements, the accuracy of color reproduction is not guaranteed. By placing an order with SimplePrint.com, you agree to this limitation. We accept no responsibility for color variations between submitted files and the final printed piece. Under no circumstances will a reprint be honored for color variations that have occurred during the printing process.


Customers must notify SimplePrint.com within 3 business days of order delivery of any defects discovered in the ordered product. 100% of the product should be returned at the Customers expense within 5 business days from the date of contacting SimplePrint.com about a defect. Should SimplePrint.com approve the claim, a reprint at no cost will be shipped to the Customer using the original shipping method.

Use of Information Submitted

SimplePrint.com assumes no responsibility for reviewing unsolicited ideas for our business (such as website, product or advertising ideas), and will not incur any liability as a result of any similarities between those ideas and materials that may appear in future SimplePrint.com programs. Please do not reveal trade secrets or other confidential information in your messages. Any and all rights to materials and ideas submitted to us become the exclusive property of SimplePrint.com.

Refunds and Cancellations

All sales are final. No refunds are available on orders unless art files have NOT been uploaded to the site or submitted to Customer Service. On jobs that meet the above criteria, a $15 processing fee will be charged for each job cancellation. On jobs that meet the above criteria, you must contact SimplePrint.com within 30 days to request your refund. Any refund requests approved after 30 days will be issued as a credit toward your next order. If an order is cancelled after SimplePrint.com has done any work, charges for that work are non-refundable.

Over-runs and Under-runs

Due to variables in the offset printing process and in the binding and finishing processes, there can be over-runs (we end up with more copies than were ordered) or under-runs (we end up with fewer copies than were ordered). Over-runs or under-runs will not exceed 5%. If a job is short, SimplePrint.com will prorate the missing quantity in the form of a credit toward future orders, or at our discretion, a reprint of the missing amount will be allowed for jobs missing 500 pieces or more.

Discount Codes and Marketing Promotions

Please note that all prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Check www.SimplePrint.com for updated online advertised price. Qualifying purchases should be placed online along with the code and paid in full before the promotion expiration time. Offers are not valid for previous purchases. Non-shipping related promotions apply to printing charge only; mailing postage, custom quotes, shipping charges and sales tax, etc. are excluded from offer discounts. Promotions or credits cannot be combined; only one discount code per order.


SimplePrint.com ships all jobs via UPS. Once a package has shipped, SimplePrint.com will not be responsible for late or damaged packages. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and may include extra transit time in case of unforeseen delays. No refund on shipping charges will be made on any job once it has shipped.

Unless you choose pick-up or mailing services, all shipping is currently done via UPS. When choosing a shipping option, please remember that the estimated shipping transit time is based on the number of business days in transit and does not include weekends, holidays or the day the package is picked up by UPS. For instance, a product shipped 2nd Day Air and picked up on a Friday would be delivered by end of day Tuesday.

Shipping transit times vary, and SimplePrint.com assumes no responsibility for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, etc.

SimplePrint.coms responsibility is limited to preparing your printing order and delivering it to UPS for shipping. SimplePrint.com is not liable for any damages that occur in shipping.

Pick-up orders will be kept for 30 days from the delivery of the pick-up notification email. If the order has not been picked up from SimplePrint.coms facility within 30 days, it will be shipped directly to the Customer and the Customer will be billed for the applicable ground shipping rates. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO.

Transfer of Title

The Customer agrees that the shipping terms for all printed products are FOB shipping point and ownership transfers to the Customer upon shipment. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. For any product that is to be provided to the Customer in an electronic format, the Customer agrees that delivery of such product shall be deemed to have occurred either (a) at the time we transmit the product via email or other electronic communication addressed to the Customer or (b) at the time we transmit a notification to the Customer that the product is available for downloading from the Website.

Email Notifications

By requesting a sample pack, creating an account or placing an order with SimplePrint.com, you agree to receive various emails from SimplePrint.com. Emails may include job status notifications sent regarding job status changes, shipment notification, or job-related warnings such as art issues, etc. Periodic newsletters, special discount offers, sales, coupons and other time-sensitive information are also sent. All email communications are sent pursuant to our privacy policy. All non-job related communications provide for Customer opt-out requests. If you would like to stop receiving the special offer emails, please click the remove link at the bottom of the email.

If your email employs a filter that requires senders to fill out a form, you may not receive the automated notifications. SimplePrint.com is not responsible for automated email notifications that are redirected due to a Customers email filter settings. It is the Customers responsibility to check their My Account page or contact a Customer Service Representative for the most current information on their order.

Warranty Disclaimer & Liability Limit

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, WE PRESENT THE WEBSITE AS IS AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions on the Website; any failures, delays or interruptions in the Websites accessibility; any losses or damages arising from the use of the Website; or any conduct by other users of the Website. We reserve the right to deliver the Website in our sole and absolute discretion. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so the foregoing may not apply to you.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, so the above may not apply to you. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold SimplePrint.com, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys fees and costs, made by any third party due to or arising out of Customers use of the Service, the violation of this Agreement, or infringement by Customer, or other user of the Service using Customers computer, of any intellectual property or any other right of any person or entity.

Right to Refuse Service

SimplePrint.com reserves the right to cancel or otherwise refuse to print jobs it, at its sole discretion, deems obscene or offensive, including but not limited to pornographic materials. SimplePrint.com reserves the right to charge the Customer for services rendered up to the point that the job was cancelled.

Modifications and Interruption to Service

SimplePrint.com reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service with or without notice to the Customer. SimplePrint.com shall not be liable to Customer or any third party should SimplePrint.com exercise its right to modify or discontinue the Service. Customer acknowledges and accepts that SimplePrint.com does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to our Website. Operation of our Website may be interfered with or adversely affected by numerous factors or circumstances outside of our control.

Third-Party Sites

Our Website may include links to other websites that are owned and operated by third parties. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any third-party site. You should contact the specific sites site administrator or Webmaster for issues with those third-party sites. Your use of those third-party sites is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of each site, and we are not responsible therein. We encourage all Customers to review the privacy policies of any such third-party sites.

Disclaimer Regarding Accuracy of Information

While SimplePrint.com makes every effort to ensure that the information on this Website is accurate, we can make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or reliability of any information provided on this Website.

Governing Jurisdiction

Our Website is operated and provided in the State of Minnesota. As such, we are subject to the laws of the State of Minnesota, and such laws will govern this Terms of Use, without giving effect to any choice of law rules. We make no representation that our Website or other services are appropriate, legal or available for use in other locations. Accordingly, if you choose to access our site, you agree to do so subject to the internal laws of the State of Minnesota.

Compliance with Laws

Customer assumes all knowledge of applicable law and is responsible for compliance with any such laws. Customer may not use the Service in any way that violates applicable state, federal, or international laws, regulations or other government requirements. Customer further agrees not to transmit any material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

Copyright Materials for Limited Use

This Website contains graphics, photographs, images, document layouts, artwork, text, fonts, music, software tools, and other information (referred to herein as Content). This Website and all Content are the copyrighted property of SimplePrint.com and/or its subsidiaries, or the copyrighted property of parties from whom SimplePrint.com has licensed such property. All rights in this Website and its Content are reserved worldwide. It is strictly prohibited to retain, copy, distribute, publish, or use any portion of the Content except as expressly allowed in these Terms of Use. SimplePrint.com reserves the right to add to, delete from, or modify any part of Content at any time without prior notice.

Trademark Information

All trademarks, service marks and trade names of SimplePrint.com, Inc. used on the Website are trademarks or registered trademarks of SimplePrint.com, Inc. in the U.S. and/or other countries. They may not be used without our prior express written permission. Other Terms

If any provision of this Terms of Use Agreement shall be unlawful, void or unenforceable for any reason, the other provisions (and any partially-enforceable provision) shall not be affected thereby and shall remain valid and enforceable to the maximum possible extent. You agree that this Terms of Use Agreement and any other agreements referenced herein may be assigned by SimplePrint.com, in our sole discretion, to a third party in the event of a merger or acquisition.

This Terms of Use Agreement shall apply in addition to, and shall not be superseded by, any other written agreement between us in relation to your participation as a Customer. Customer agrees that by accepting this Terms of Use Agreement, Customer is consenting to the use and disclosure of their personally identifiable information and other practices described in our Privacy Policy Statement.


The section headings of this Agreement are for convenience of reference only and shall not be deemed to alter or affect any provision hereof.


We reserve the right in our sole discretion to terminate or restrict your use of the Website, without notice, for any or no reason, and without liability to you or any third party.

Mailing Services Terms and Conditions


By extending payment to SimplePrint.com for postage due for your mailing job, you acknowledge and signify your unconditional agreement to these Terms of Use and the fact that all terms and conditions herein apply to SimplePrint.com (SimplePrint.com) and all of our affiliates separately and collectively as applicable.

Pre-Payment of Postage

Payment of postage is required in advance for all mailings (minimum 48 hours before the job is delivered to USPS for mailing). Postage may be paid by cashiers check, money order or wire transfer. Credit cards are accepted for postage payment; however, a 5% convenience fee will be added to postage transactions only.

Mailing List Processing

Mail Processing purchased via the Website includes: data processing one list, CASS (USPS certification process for ZIP + 4 matching software) and PAVE, inkjet addressing, sorting and delivering to USPS for mailing.

Additional services are available for additional fees: inserting, tabbing, merging multiple databases, sequential numbering, NCOA and mail list services. Unless otherwise instructed, SimplePrint.com will not remove duplicate names (de-dupe) from all lists submitted for processing where the name and address match. 100% accuracy of removal cannot be guaranteed due to data variances.

Move Update Requirement

U.S. Postal Service requires that all first class pre-sorted mailings comply with Move Update. SimplePrint.com assumes no responsibility for failure to do so.

Estimated Postage

Estimated postage rates may increase due to the design of mail piece, final weight, size, or shape.

Bar Code Readability Requirement

If your mailing does not meet USPS requirements for barcode readability, the postal rate will increase. Your design must include a minimum 4" wide x 2" tall complete white/unprinted area in the bottom right corner of the mailing side/panel. This allows room to inkjet address and barcode. If you fail to do so, your mailing will not qualify for automated postal discounts and will mail at non-automated rates, thus increasing your postal costs.

Mailing List File Formats

SimplePrint.com uses ASCII comma delimited (CSV), Excel, and DBF formats for data compilation for mailing services. Although many formats can be converted to DBF, a mailing service software format conversion cost of $75 per hour may be incurred to reformat mailing lists to meet our specifications. This is also referred to as list cleanup.

Bad Data Disclaimer

SimplePrint.com cannot be held liable for data supplied by the Customer or list broker or for list errors created within the computer processing of a job due to bad data.

Mailing List Confidentiality

SimplePrint.com agrees to maintain strict confidentiality on all information contained in a Customers mailing list. SimplePrint.com agrees that the Customers mailing list is and remains the exclusive property of the Customer and shall be used only with Customers instructions, and not sold or given to any outside parties. It is the vendors responsibility to maintain a duplicate copy of its mailing list as SimplePrint.com assumes no responsibility or liability for replacement (or reprocessing) of such lists in the event of loss by fire, vandalism, theft or other such causes while said lists are in possession of SimplePrint.com.

USPS Delivery

SimplePrint.com has no control over and is not liable for the delivery schedule of the USPS, nor can we accept responsibility for the actual delivery date.

Mailer Shortage or Overage

There is a possibility of up to 5% shortage or overage of the printed pieces before they arrive to Mail Services. Please see Printing Terms and Conditions above. Unless prior arrangements have been made to hold any extra/un-mailed pieces for an additional mail drop, SimplePrint.com will send the un-mailed pieces to the address you entered at order/checkout, via the shipping method you chose. Extras ship within 2 business days of the mailing date in most cases.

Mailing Processing and Delivery

SimplePrint.com will process and deliver jobs to USPS 2-3 business days after the final ship date of the printing portion as purchased on the Website, providing postage has been paid at least 48 hours in advance. SimplePrint.com shall not be liable for USPS performance failures or delivery delays. SimplePrint.com accepts no responsibility for any additional services performed outside of SimplePrint.com, including but not limited to additional ink jetting, bindery or mail delivery services.
